Can’t they or their advisors realize that the prices of commodities are rising way faster than the earnings power of the average wage earner and that eventually more and more people will fall into the automation trap of being either unemployed or without jobs that would pay enough to support a family?

Can’t they see that we humans are working and technologizing ourselves out of jobs?

we would not be in the mess that we are now in if we had strict laws that penalize manufacturers that go out of country for their labor or keep the illegal problem at high levels for cheap labor, we need to make laws that say something like this if you go overseas and give jobs to make products that you intend to bring back in country to sell then we are going to make it to cost effective as a country to do so, in other words you will be forced to sell your product in the countries that you have the cheap labor for prices that they can pay that will end this mess once and for all, then you pass laws that forbid lobbying and you have solved the majority of the problem

politicians care only for what benefits them and theirs. yes, there is a growing divide, but look whos sitting pretty. they simply could care less about the average American. they only care for what rhetoric put them in office and what policy maintains the girth of their own wallets.

They know what is going on. They are afraid to tell the Americans the truth because of the potential of mass panic due to lack of understanding and confusion. Some people will inevitably overreact. The politicians are acting in their own interests. They have been bought by corporations and special interests. If Americans knew the whole truth then these clowns would be voted out of office and I’m sure there would be massive protests.
