I know little about online trading or (investing in general), but I want to learn especially about Forex. All I know is "buy low and sell hi" concept which is self-explanatory and common sense in all trading.
However, do I HAVE to have a broker to trade online? After I learn about Forex trading, can’t I [...]

I would like the opinion of experienced on line traders what brokerage firms they liked the most in terms of ease of use, fees, researching tools, and overall help.
I have about ,000 to start investing and want to do it before I get out of school.

If no, then why do you need a medium? That medium is trading directly with the market so why couldn’t you skip a step?
Also how much does the medium pay to trade on a market?

It happens to be Scottrade. Where does the dividend payout go? Does Scottrade receive it and is it added to my account or is it sent to me? Its not reinvested in the companies stock I take it?
