• What are the things that we shall look into when buying a house?

  I am a first time house buyer. As someone who has never invested on this big, I need some advice on what are the things to consider when dealing with property investment.

   

• St Lucia property investment?

  I will try and keep this in a nut shell. A friend has been given the opportunity to invest x amount of pounds from his pension fund into property being developed in St Lucia. The return from this investment would be x amount of pounds on the basis that 30% of the return goes back into his pension and the rest just goes into his bank account. Once he has made the investment apparently he owns x% of the property with the developer owning x% of the property, with my friend then effectively having to pay the developer x amount to pay off the rest of the property via a % of his return. Ultimately he will then have the option to sell the property for a nice profit or continue to rent it out.

  Sorry I am not great at explaining these things but has anyone else ever come across this kind of opportunity and is it too good to be true.

• Using corporate entitys to protect assests, so confusing?

  I was looking to use some coroprate entitiys to protect my upcoming property investments. I read pieces of informations on C & S corporations, Limited Partnerships and LLC’s. Due to the compleexity and rules of each one I was seeking a CPA accountant who either invests in property and uses corporate entitys, or someone who works with people who do. I live in Atlanta, Georgia and since there are so many accountants I figured I would try this to I wouldnt have to talk to 100 of them to find 1. If you are one, or know one please provide your email address or phone number(preferabely email I am timid to talking on a subject I dont know much about) I would like to chat and get advice on setting such things up. Maybe for free I dont have 0 to just talk to an accountant ^_^
