  • What are the average fees and taxes associated with online investing?

    I was planning on with either ING Direct, Scott , or E-. Is one better than the other? What types of fees and comissions should I be planned to pay? What is the rate and how often will I be taxed? From my current understanding, I would only be eligible to pay taxes on that I took out of the market. If I keep the in the market, and/or moved it around to other , am I taxed? As to my situation, I am 20 years old, and already have a rental property. I did recieve a large amount of from a recent inheritance and do have some invested by a broker, as well as in . I want to see how well I can do myself, and learn about the market. I have long term investment goals, and don’t plan to make a quick buck, but would also be interested in learning how to do that as well. Thank you in advance for any advice you may have.

    What do the following terms mean and how do they work: margin interest rate, option trading cost, and cash balance interest rate.

    Now when you first purchase stock base rate fee, is this per stock or per transaction?

    When you sell the stock and want the cash, what fees apply?

    When you sell but want to purchase other stock wit that , what fees apply?

    I know I could just cash it out, but I am thinking of playing with it online in order to try to turn it into more.     New Delhi : Online shopping is a new way to shop but do you think that people are still happy with it? For example eBay the biggest online shopping mall till date with millions of buyers and sellers but still it does not provide you fair price, security & you can’t even see or feel the product before buying.

    In India people want real stuff they are more concerned about the value of the product they buy, at any cost don’t think that they will pay you more unless and untill someone dare to lure them.

    Recently Jiffy360.com announced mega online computer mall with of over Rs 20 billion and a network of over 30,000 suppliers. Reliance Retail a company owned by Mukesh Ambani group is both Jiffy360 & Reliance have faced problems from small sellers who cannot match there economy of scale which allow them to sell at prices lower than market.
