I would like to buy a house as an investment property. I do not necesarily want to live there. I would like to lease or rent it out while I am paying the payments and collecting rent. I don’t know how all this works, and I don’t know the common terminology. I would like someone to explain this to me.

    Do research on becoming a landlord, sometimes it is not a pretty business to be in and getting the one tenant from hell will wipe out your investment very quickly.
