Penny stocks don’t normally give out dividends.
What you need to watch out for is the "Value trap". There is a company in Canada called "Autocanada" that had a 54 percent dividend payout per year. Every month you got 4.5 percent return on your investment, which is almost as good as a bond. Who would say no?
This company was paying out such a high dividend because other people thought they were going to cut it and they sold out.
The company cut its dividend and the sale price plunged, giving them an effective dividend of 108 percent. This was so abnormally high that it meant no one believed the company could sustain their new dividend.
They were right and today the company pays no dividend at all. Be very careful when investing in penny stocks that pay dividends. They are penny stocks for a reason.

I am going to guess there are zero "penny stocks" paying dividends. Under $10 on the other hand I would suggest using caps.fool.com or thestreet.com.
