Is pacific life (insurance company) a good mutual fund company?
My mom is looking to invest 800,000k after my father’s passing away. Is pacific life a good company to invest with? What is a good company for investing in mutual funds that are fairly conservative. (she doesn’t work and needs some income)

Yes they are, They will get you about 8 percent a year on your money.

They are, but you should work with a financial advisor. A financial advisor who can address your moms full financial needs. A financial advisor you feel and your mom feels that has high integrity and cares about here financial future.
When I lost my dad I helped my mom. But we paid debts down, mortgage, etc. After that have her take her time take it all in.
The comment before mine is not a good statement to make especially if a portfolio got crushed in 2008.
