hi,i have an uk company set up with some freinds wanting to invest in property or land anywhere in the world,but can not find anybody who invested and made a good return,know a lot of people invested like dubai,but can not sale only the value is up on the papper.there are so many agent wants to sale property all over the world,impossible to make up the mind where to start,anyone who has first hand experiece or give me a direction please,but no agent who wants to sale and make 3000 pounds introduction fee please.kind of feeling sick of so many sale call after leaving detail at couple of property shows.

    Well, I am a real estate agent, but not asking for any fees. I can give you my personal experience.

    I moved to the Dominican Republic from Florida about a year ago. My trade was commercial loan officer. Now I specialize in multiple property purchases for investors and investment groups. I basically negotiate 15-20% discounts on preconstruction prices, and various perks such as exclusive model unit/sales centers, extended delivery terms, staggered payment options etc. It has been working well for my clients so far. I have a client right now negotiating to purchase 22 units to buy out a precon project, and just had another developer come to me offering 32 units remaining on his project. I have right now 8 projects at good to substantial discounts. In addition, properties in the punta cana area (where I am located) are appreciating 8-30% annually. This is expected to continue for at least the next 5-7 years.

    I am also putting together some development deals starting in the 4 million dollar range, up to 500 million. Out of the 150+ projects I have screened so far, only 6 have any true merit.

    The company I am with is a well organized smaller independent based and operated in the Dominican Republic. The owner and I are from the US, a partner is from France, and we also have agents from Spain and Russia. We try to cover all bases. I deal with primarily US, UK and Canadian investors.

    If you think there might be a way to do some business here in the Dominican Republic, let me know. It is an amazing area, and I have contacts with developers who are doing ocean front developments, which will skyrocket in value.

    Go to http://www.zillow.com, click on Oberlin Ohio search and the make me move listing. Oberlin Ohio has Oberlin College and investing in houses in college towns is a safe bet. Oberlin College was rated number 20 of the best colleges in the US by US News and World Report. Plus if you have a child that goes to High School at Oberlin High school they qualify for the "oberlin partnership program" whereby they get a free 32K per year college education. Back to the house, on zillow you get an aerial view of the house and a description. It is moms house and she is going into an assisted living. It is a steal at $225000, she paid $295500 for it in Dec06. It is 3896 sq feet with an in law suite or first floor master bedroom. 3 baths. Has a home warranty. Call the number listed on zillow. The address of the house is 472 Caskey Drive, Oberlin Ohio 44074. Call me need to close in 30 days so mom can buy into the assisted living.
