This is not the right section for this question. There is not such thing as credit repair. The only way to improve your credit score is to pay your bills on time and just wait it out until the score improves. A company can’t just wave a magic wand and your credit it good again.

It’s a scam since you can do it yourself. Like the freecreditreport.com commercial said, "When your debt goes up, your scores goes down. When you pay a little off, it goes the other way around." Do you really need someone to teach you how to pay your debts? Those companies cannot change your score unless they can prove that there was a mistake. Since you already know that you’re in debt, you obviously know that the companies didn’t make a mistake.

There are free services that will speak to the credit card company to lower your debt or the percentage rate. You can also talk to your credit card company to get rates lowered. Credit card companies rather that you pay a part of your debt than file for bankruptcy, when they get nothing.

There are a bunch of ways to lower your debt. Just search around in your library.
