I went to different banks and the best offer I got so far is 1% APY for 24 months investing ,000. They told me the rates are really low right now. Somebody was telling me about Market, , etc.
Anybody invested with ING?? Are they a reputable institution? I want to invest with no risk, thanks for the advice

    Many people don’t understand the the real situation. The best thing to invest in is gold and silver. Although it is rising. There will be times when the price does go down. If you look at the trend, prices have been rising and will continue to do so with so much money in the economy. If you understand the state of the economy now, we’re going to have higher inflation. That $20,000 will buy less.

    If you want to invest in stocks. Some real economists say to invest in other commodities like wheat, corn, etc. There are mutual funds that have them.

    You should think about an index fund. They historically have better rates of return than mutual funds, because their management fees are much smaller. They include every company in a certain market and issue shares that give shareholders an even distribution of their money among every company. The stock market has historically earned about 10-11%, but I think that the near future looks kind of scary for stocks, so you might want to wait a little.

    Some Cd’s you can get about 2% and ladder them, ibonds, money market accounts.

    You can invest in no load low fee mutual funds. Tiaa-cref has been around for over 90 years. Very good company. They has money market funds too.
