Please do not answer if you don’t know much on the subject. Give advice where it can help. Many people insist on giving opinions without bothering to research. Don’t answer a serious question just for the sake of it.

Most funds need at least a $2500-$3000 minimum initial investment. There are a few that will open an account for less.

Seriously, I wouldn’t give investing advice. I’m not qualified. Nor would I take any from a stranger. Why should someone else do the research for you? You’d trust them? HOw do you know if they are giving you good advice? How do you know they wouldn’t give you advice to further their own ends, but to your detriment?

Asking strangers for investment advice is NOT a very sound investment strategy.

there aren’t many funds that will let you start with as little as $500 – google it, then research those funds on a mutual fund website
