I have a website that I sell outdoor gear from and its becoming a real hastle to run. I have done well out of it here and there but I have to keep dropping prices to compete with people on ebay. I dont do it for a living its just a part time business I have started.
I am now struggling to pay my supplier and have to issue refunds over the weekend which I will struggle to do. I dont want to have to bail it out again with my personal money.
I am starting to think its more bother than its worth and I am interested in investing in property and in stocks/shares.

I think you’ve already come to a decision. However, just to be safe, do a financial analysis and project what your monthly sales will be, and what your monthly costs will be and see if you can make a profit. If you show consistent losses, and can’t increase sales or reduce costs, then it is time to get out.
Good luck

Just get out if it’s taking your own money. I had the same problem with my restaurant. I felt bad giving it up. But I’m way more happy now and have my own money to keep for myself.

ask your supplier for better prices on the items they supply you with, explain to them you have been a loyal cusomer and have sold many products for them and you are finding it hard to compete with ebay sellers and let them know you will have to stop buying from them unless it is possible for you to be supplied with lower prices.
