I’ve always enjoyed beat boxing ever since I saw some guy do it on ebaumsworld.com. He had used a peddle to loop his beats and put together a complex melody(looked like he had it hooked up to his PC too). I’m wondering how much equipment like that would cost, I don’t want high end stuff. Because I don’t want to invest to much
money until I’m sure I can do it and do it well. I’ve also liked the sound of people scratching on turn-tables. I’d like to get a low-end turn-table to mess around with so I can see if I’m any good at it also. My ideal price range is 0 to 0(I plan on investing towards one of these ideas).
Any advice on how to get started on either subject will be helpful, or why I should go for one instead of the other. If you know a good website to buy software and equipment for these two ideas please list them.
Thanks Arn,
Dj Lab Rat,
decks.co.uk doesn’t deliver to US, whats a cd deck? Looks like a turntable that runs off a cd…If you could e-mail me I’d a appreciate it, my address is in my profile.
Thanks

A decent turntable for scratching would cost 200 brand new.
Use Audacity, its free looping software.
