Here are some questions I have:
1) What is the difference between stock trading and stock investing?
2) What are some useful things to read to learn how to trade/invest in the stock market?
3) Is E*Trade a good website to use to trade/invest in stocks?
If you think there’s anything else I should know just tell me.
Thanks in advance!

An investor only trades the long side of the market, and is more or less luck – you buy and hold. A trader tries to time the market, at least a few times a year, and can trade either the long or short side. He observes the markets from the standpoint of risk rather than profit.

There is great deal more that you should know. Start with a good beginner’s book like "Stock Investing For Dummies." Since you are under 18, you cannot open a brokerage account in your own name.
