My company does not offer 401(k) Plan, but I still want to for retirement. What are the best alternative retirement plans, and what companies would be the best to go for?

The next option is IRAs. IRA denotes the individual retirement account and can substitute or complement a 401 K. There are 3 varieties of IRAs available: Roth IRAs, Traditional IRAs and Simple IRAs. Traditional IRAs offer you tax advantages whenever you deposit or add money to your account. On the other hand, a Roth IRA offers you the maximum tax benefit when you withdraw money from your account. A Simple IRA is just like a 401K with lower contribution limit, but cheaper and has lesser paperwork.

If you are younger i would sugest that you max out a deductable IRA first to save on a tax deferred basis and lower you tax liability. If at that time you still want to save more for retirement i would sugest a Roth IRA. This is investable dollars that have been taxed in your paycheck. The money grows tax deferred and when you take the money out you don’t pay taxes on the gains. Whatever you do i would suggest you get some advise from a financial professional. better to pay a little so that you don’t make any real big mistakes.

Let’s say you have osteoarthritis – probably the most common disorder of muscular system. It is often treated with a surgical procedure to clean out debris in the joint, using a tiny scope inserted straight into the knee. However more and more researches emphasize fact that the surgery works, but no better than other treatments. Dr. Kalousek is a rheumatologist from Spa-resorts.cz emphasizes – surgery doesn’t stop the arthritic process.

For example American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) persuades patients to consider physical therapy as an alternative non-surgical option for treatment of osteoarthritis.

Doctor Kalousek believes that beside health SPA treatments everyone can protect joints from osteoarthritis or for sure slow its progression simply by following recommendations:

-Lose weight. Remember that every kilogram lost reduces the load exerted on the knee for each step by 4 kilogram.

-Get active. Training strengthens the muscles around joints, which can stop cartilage from wearing down.

-Stay straight. Good position protects the neck, back, hip and knee joints.

-Don’t stay immobile when sitting. Switching positions can reduce joint and muscle stiffness.

-Lift cautiously. Use your biggest and strongest joints and muscles when carrying & lifting to avoid straining smaller joints.

-Take a rest. Rest between periods of heavy activity to avoid repetitive stress on joints that can accelerate wear and tear.

In other words therapeutic treatment is a good option of surgical operation in many cases!
